Sailor Sol

This is a very old piece of Sailor Moon fan art I painted back in 1998. It's an original character, but designed to fit in with the rest of the cast. At the time I was recording the series off a German satellite channel. That's right, I had all 200 episodes in German, and couldn't understand a word of it. That was a very dry period for anime releases in the UK.

I didn't have a PC or scanner at the time, so I created this image the same way as an animation cel: acrylic painted onto the back of clear acetate.
